TRAINING UPDATES: Teach Others Also... 2 Timothy 2:1-3 "You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, 2 and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also. 3 Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus." This passage has been directional, purposeful, and grace-giving in our ministry over the years. We are thrilled to be able to share, teach, and simply encourage believers in the gospel here in the UK with what God has poured into us in the past. In many ways training continues to refine, sharpen and spiritually form us as we teach others. We did not come to plant just one church but to see the gospel multiply through His people. God has continued to bless training and equipping this year. We have 7 seminars lined up this year already by God's grace in some incredible locations in London with intentional teachers and topics. The hope behind these is to unify training to collaborate among ministries. Below are two upcoming training events that we are hosting. As we aim to train our and grow our core team with Story Church London these events are particularly foundational for the mission of the church. We are delighted to have Alex Brito of the London Project and Todd Morr of Missional Made Simple join us this Autumn. Please pray for both of these events to be a blessing as we train and encourage leaders to equip their people to live on Mission too. We are praying that God blesses this with momentum for a hub for training here in London. |
Commission Training has launched this new year as well! In September a total of 179 students are now studying on our training programs! Commission Intern Programme – 8 Level 1 – Theology for Life (3 locations): 98 Level 2 – Training in Leadership Ministry: 44 Level 3 – Graduate Diploma in Theology: 7 Level 4 – Master of Theology: 22 I get the honor of overseeing and teaching Level 2 and Level 4 this year. Please pray for each of these men and women as they pursue Jesus together. We are thrilled at what God is doing in their lives and look forward to the fruit that will come from their ministries in the years to come!
